Nepal has never had world-class precision manufacturing capability. Until now. GarudX's Lalitpur facility runs the same manufacturing processes used to build our military-grade UAV platforms — CNC machining, carbon fiber composites, FDM and resin 3D printing, and professional CAD design — and we offer these capabilities as a service to external clients.

3D Printing Services

GarudX operates industrial FDM printers capable of printing in PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, Nylon, and carbon fiber-filled filaments. Build volume up to 300×300×400mm. Layer resolution to 0.1mm. For precision applications, we run SLA resin printing with 25-micron resolution for parts requiring fine detail or smooth surface finish.

Typical use cases: product prototypes, functional mechanical parts, jigs and fixtures, housing and enclosures for electronics, and custom mounting hardware. Turnaround time: 24–72 hours for standard prints. We've printed everything from drone components to architectural scale models to medical device prototypes.

CNC Machining

Our CNC routing capability handles aluminum, carbon fiber, G10/FR4, HDPE, and wood composites. We cut custom drone frames, structural brackets, and precision panels to tolerances of ±0.1mm. Our 3-axis CNC router operates on a 1200×800mm bed — large enough for full-size drone frames and medium structural components.

Carbon fiber CNC cutting is our specialty — it's what we do for every GarudX drone frame in production. We understand the material properties, cutting speeds, and dust management required to produce clean, delamination-free carbon fiber parts consistently.

Composite Manufacturing

Beyond CNC cutting, GarudX performs manual carbon fiber layup for structural components requiring custom geometry or optimized fiber orientation. We work with uni-directional, bi-directional, and twill weave carbon fiber cloth in epoxy resin systems. Curing under vacuum bag pressure produces void-free, high-strength laminates.

For clients requiring lightweight structural parts — robotics frames, aerospace components, racing car bodywork, bicycle components — composite manufacturing offers strength-to-weight ratios impossible to achieve with any other process.

CAD Design Services

Not sure how to get from idea to printable/machinable file? GarudX's engineering team provides CAD design services in SolidWorks and Fusion 360. We take your concept — a sketch, a reference photo, or a description — and produce a production-ready 3D model. We understand design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and will flag design features that will cause problems in fabrication before we start cutting.

Design service rates: NPR 3,000–8,000 per component depending on complexity. Most mechanical parts take 2–5 working days for initial design. Revision cycles included.
