Return & Refund Policy

No returns on non-defective products

No refunds on custom-built UAVs, software, or completed services

1. Overview

GarudX Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. ("GarudX", "we", "us") is a UAV manufacturer and technology company registered in Lalitpur, Nepal. Due to the high-precision, electromechanical nature of our products, our return and refund policy is strictly limited.

All sales are considered final. Refunds are granted only in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect or damage caused during shipping. We do not offer product exchanges for any reason.

2. Eligible Refund Conditions

You may be eligible for a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The product has a manufacturing defect — meaning it does not function as described due to a fault in materials or workmanship at the time of manufacturing.
  2. The defect is reported to us at collaborate@garudx.com within 7 calendar days of the date you received the product.
  3. The product has not been used, flown, modified, disassembled, or subjected to physical damage after receipt.
  4. The product is returned in its original packaging with all accessories, documentation, and components included.

3. Non-Refundable Items & Situations

The following are explicitly not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

  • Products damaged due to crash, impact, water ingress, or misuse after delivery
  • Products that have been modified, repaired, or tampered with by the customer or a third party
  • Custom-designed or custom-built UAV platforms ordered to specification
  • Completed services (drone filming, survey, training, virtual tours, etc.)
  • Digital products, software licences, or firmware
  • FPV components showing signs of use, soldering, or installation
  • Products returned after the 7-day reporting window has passed
  • Products where damage was caused by incorrect setup, improper storage, or failure to follow our documentation
  • Change of mind, buyer's remorse, or incompatibility with third-party systems

4. No Exchange Policy

GarudX does not offer product exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to: wrong product ordered by the customer, preference for a different variant, or compatibility concerns discovered after purchase.

We strongly recommend contacting us at collaborate@garudx.com before placing an order if you have any questions about product specifications, compatibility, or suitability for your use case.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe your product qualifies for a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us within 7 days of receipt at collaborate@garudx.com with subject line: REFUND REQUEST — [Order ID]
  2. Include the following in your email:
    • Your full name and contact number
    • Order ID or invoice number
    • Clear photos and/or video showing the defect
    • Description of the issue
  3. Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and respond with a decision.
  4. If approved, we will share return instructions. The product must be shipped back to our Lalitpur facility at the customer's cost. We do not offer return pickup service.
  5. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, the refund will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method (bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, etc.).

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product arrived damaged due to our error in packaging. GarudX is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

7. Warranty

Select GarudX products come with a limited manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms are specified on individual product pages. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover crash damage, water damage, or damage from misuse.

Warranty claims are handled separately from refunds. A warranty claim may result in repair or replacement of a defective component at GarudX's discretion — it does not automatically entitle the customer to a full product refund.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018) and the Electronic Transaction Act, 2063 (2006). Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lalitpur, Bagmati Province, Nepal.
